Reviving the arts and weaves of India
Kudil means “cottage” in Tamil. Kudil is a social enterprise with a mission to revive and reimagine the arts and weaves of India, thereby providing an opportunity for a respectable livelihood for the kaarigars that have created them. We work with the kalamkari artisans (mostly women) of Andhra Pradesh and weavers from clusters of North Karnataka to hand create memorabilia that showcase the richness of India’s art forms. Founded in 2021, Kudil curates products that are functional and elegant with an appeal to global audience.
